John Solomon


John, a serial entrepreneur, is CEO of SuperBetter Labs. SuperBetter Labs is John’s fourth startup and he is excited about building a resilient and SUPERBETTER company. John came to SuperBetter Labs from enovate, which he founded in 2008 and sold in 2010. As CEO of enovate, John grew the company to over 20 employees who built several consumer research and tracking tools used by many of the largest consumer brands in the world, including Nike, Coca-Cola, Unilever, and BMW. Prior to enovate, John started an e-commerce business and a non-profit. John holds a BA from Duke University and a MA from John Hopkins University. Tweet him!

Jane McGonigal


Jane is a world-renowned designer of alternate reality games (ARGs) — games designed to improve real lives and solve real problems.  She is Chief Creative Officer for SuperBetter Labs, and  she is the New York Times best-selling author of Reality is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World.  As a TED 2010 speaker, her speech attracted over 1.7 million views, and she has keynoted the Game Developers Conference, SXSW and Google Zeitgeist Americas.  She recently played a high profile role at the World Economic Forum in Davos, January 2012.  Jane has a PhD in performance studies from the University of California at Berkeley.

John Yost


John Yost is a founder and Chairman of the Board of SuperBetter Labs. Prior to SuperBetter Labs, John was a founder and President of Black Rocket, a San Francisco-based advertising agency, which helped introduce Yahoo! to the world.  John has held a variety of marketing and management positions in agencies such as Chiat-Day and Hal Riney and Partners, and consumer product companies including Activision and Francis Ford Coppola Presents.  A post board member of the University of California Alumni Association and Common Sense Media, John currently serves on the board of KQED.

Rose Broome


Rose combines her love of data with the power of technology to create health, happiness, and positive transformation in the world. As the Data Scientist at SuperBetter Labs, she hunts for meaning in vast data sets, conducts research with our academic partners, and designs data visualizations to inspire the community. Previously at Inigral Inc., Rose pioneered research connecting social network data to student success outcomes for top US universities. She also served as a data manager for Barak Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign forming San Francisco’s 200+ person data team. Rose has her master’s in Psychological Research from San Francisco State University.
